Nik Allen

Nik comes from a parentage of green glass import lagers, but can trace back his love of beer to his first Tucher Helles Hefe. Nik started homebrewing mediocre porters and saisons not long after, and decided to keep at it in spite of kind-hearted protests from friends and family. A decade later, he made the abysmal decision of turning his hobby into a career, and now happily brews professionally in Chicago. Nik enjoys threading the needle between emulating classic beer styles and developing stylistic abominations. You’ll most likely find Nik sitting on his back porch, drinking De La Senne and trying his best to explain Cold IPAs to his friends.
